unfortunately, neither answer worked for me. I’m not sure if it has anything to do with the fact that yahoo web hosting is redirecting centrodeeducacionactiva.com to centrodeeducacionactiva.com/joomla
so some folders must have been misput.
I followed your instructions, but I can’t see my logo or the slideshow live.
the only thing I changed in the slideshow parameters was that I chose No Description, because I just want the images to display without additional information.

I´ve had help with this. 2 problems I have left is that I have uploaded my logo, modified the size in the css template, but I kep getting the ja nickel template AND main menu (on the left, not on the top) reloads the homepage. it doesn’t open the appropriate articles despite being correctly linked.
