2 things – invisible text IE and submenus

Hi there – two issues. (again/still)

I’m working on a site, and I’ve developed it with Firefox on a Mac – as it turns out, none of my clients running Windows and IE can see any of the text – it’s white on white. Windows and FF it’s fine. How do I fix this? It’s rather catastrophic….

And how do I disable the submenu that pops up on the left? I just want the joomla dropdowns since the JA submenu on the left is not flexible enough (only one layer of menus…)
