November 21, 2008 at 4:06 am #279837Hi amlinc !
What virtuemart version are you using ?November 22, 2008 at 4:18 pm #279951Hi I’m new to php. i try overriding the minicart.tpl.php file and i get permission denied (probably because a session is still using the file). does anyone know how to destroy all active sessions, or do i just have to wait for them to timeout.
i am from a programming background, but i’m not to up on brilliant with php. how come when i display the virtuemart_cart module on the ‘Right’ pane or the ‘Left’ pane, i see the standard virtuemart logo. but when i display it on the ‘your-cart’ pane it ‘magically’ displays the logo found in the ‘/templates/ja_larix/images/’ folder. i can’t work out how that bit is implemented
any help would be appreciated
November 24, 2008 at 10:37 am #280123i’ve actually managed to override the minicart.tpl.php
but now when i add an item to the cart the part of bottom half of the ‘your-cart’ area is chopped off. if i add a second item to the basket, the entire bottom half of the ‘your-cart’ area is chopped off.
whats going on? this needs to be flawless
where is this version 1.2 of Larix? i can’t find it on the site anywhere

November 25, 2008 at 3:19 am #280202Hi amlinc !
Obove attachment is patch for virtuemart 1.1.2 , if you use vm version 1.0.15 , you can’t use it.
December 2, 2008 at 9:44 pm #280998I am having a similar issue to one of the other posts.
I am using Joomla 1.5.8, with VirtueMart 1.1.2, and I have implemented the minicart.tpl.php linked on this page.
This fixed some problems (i.e. the ‘view cart’ button redirecting me to virtuemart.com, and the multiple ‘view cart’ buttons), but now I have a new issue. Whenever I add something to the cart, the bottom part of the ‘Your Cart’ module has a plain white box added with nothing in it. Basically the ‘View Cart’ button is there, and then white all around and under it, even the Shopping cart graphic has a white box through the middle of it.

any help would be much appreciated. Ta Steve
March 17, 2009 at 4:03 pm #296453Hi,
I have applied both files as suggested but neither has fixed my problem of the white rectangle appearing after adding to the cart. Changing screens clears the problem. For me this only shows with Firefox, IE does not have this problem. Any other ideas?
Joomla 1.5.9
Virtuemart 1.1.3
JA Larix 1.4
