November 6, 2013 at 12:29 am #192012The sidebar-1 and sidebar-2 module positions are a pretty awkward size (269px). Which is big enough to make standard 250px ads look small and the optimal ad size of 300px not fit. I don’t know why it is not 300px with it having the space to make it 300px with the padding/gap between content and the sidebar’s. it just makes more sense for it to be 300px. With that being said.
How can I make the sidebar-1/2 module positions 300px wide and closer to the content without throwing everything off?
Attached are two images, 1 with how it is and another with how I want it.
Really it just makes more sense for it to be 300px and has more benefits in the ad world.
Thanks.

November 6, 2013 at 2:55 pm #511369Hi jmcelroy,
The width of ads banner on sidebar-1, sidebar-2 will be restricted by the width of t3-sidebar in the mainbody block that we do use the Bootstrap grid system to define the width of position on our template.
In this case, the idea is increasing the width of sidebar to span4 so that your 300px ads can display fine then. You can open templatesja_argotplsblocksmainbody-content-left.php file, then adjust the block width like my attached snapshot. Remember to backup the file before editing.
