August 27, 2014 at 11:33 am #200834Hi guys,
trying my luck here since the support on J-Business Directory is awful.
do any of you know why the component ruins the theme style as soon as you go to a directory listing. The megamenu, canvas width etc. gets messed up.
Tried to install it on a clean ja-appolio install as well but it seems to be the same issue with that also.
Is there any way I can make joomlart compatible with the j-business directory component. thanks.

August 29, 2014 at 12:27 am #547595Hi Denis,
As J-Business Directory is a 3-rd party component, we obviously don’t support it, so whatever template you struggle to integrate is with, your final port of call for support will always be J-Business Directly developer(s) (unless a scenario when J-Business Directory’s layout breaks explicitly under a certain template only).
Having said that, please feel free to create for our team a JA Appolio Quick Start/J-Business Directory sandbox in its own sub-folder and database, for us to check what is really happening and play with it if we need.
Regards,
Alex

September 1, 2014 at 6:58 am #547815Hello Alex,
This is understandable however this is the message I received from the Extension developer.
We had a look at it and it seems that the template wraps the menu with a div of 0px hence the display issue. You should contact your template provider to take care of this.
<div id=”slideInner” style=”width: 0px;”>
How can I fix this?
best regards

September 3, 2014 at 1:29 pm #548151Hi Saguaros,
Thank you for your reply 🙂
Sure, I have attached a screenshot. As you can see the whole theme style is broken.
The main menu has become a vertical menu instead of horizontal.
The main layout and module positions has been moved to the sides as well. And this is as mentioned the message I received from the EXT. developer.
<blockquote>We had a look at it and it seems that the template wraps the menu with a div of 0px hence the display issue. You should contact your template provider to take care of this.
<div id=”slideInner” style=”width: 0px;”></blockquote>
So I guess my questions is, how can I remove that or preferably fix it so that everything is working perfectly again.
Have looked for other extensions that has the same features as this one but without luck.regards,
Dennis

September 4, 2014 at 9:06 am #548257Hi Dennis,
I try to check JA Appolio template on my local site but can’t see above div:
<blockquote><div id=”slideInner” style=”width: 0px;”></blockquote>
Is this rendered by that 3rd party extension?
BTW, could you send me screenshot of how it should be?
