    Hi All,

I don’t know this is Joomla issue or it is template issue but I desperately need help for this.

I am testing joomla and activated SEF urls and Apache Mod_Rewrite. My menus are selected for Category Blog Layout.

I am having a strange problem of broken links which looks like cache issue. I have created a menu using “Antony Worall Thompson” category. So the page should appear like:

    http://localhost/joomla/antony-worrall-thompson

But it send 404 – Resource Not Found error. If I rename the alias to antonyworrallthompson or anything else, it appears correctly!! Gives error only for antony-worrall-thompson alias.

I noticed while testing I have deleted some pages and menus and created them again and all such testing things.

Can anyone suggest how can I solve this issue? Or where shall I check? I have deleted cache so many time and that didn’t solve the problem.

Thanks for the help in advance. I am desperate to solve this as I need to live the site by tomorrow.

    Take care.

Have you renamed htaccess.txt to .htaccess? Does it work without Apache Mod_Rewrite?

It seems you test site on localhost. What program do you use for server?

    Hi Gray,

Thanks for the help. I just fixed that problem.

It was my mistake of having same alias in multiple menus. That’s why it was creating trouble there.

    I appreciate your help.
