I had a user who made a change on the backend to one page, and now all the inside pages are coming up 404 errors.

    the site is andersonboosters.com

I’ve tried looking at this with Firebug, but I can’t seem to see what he did that makes all the pages except Home go to a 404 error.

    Any help or suggestions?

    Hi

Check sublayout assigned to your mainlayout maybe you need to set it to default

Can you be more specific on what you mean? Where do I check this?

    Hi

My mistake i thought your website was for Joomla 3 on T3 Framework

Anyway you should try to rename your htaccess.txt to .htaccess and set in global configuration as shown here

I already had an .htaccess file, so I deleted it and renamed the htaccess.txt file to .htaccess and set the global config as you mentioned, but got instead of a 404 error, an error from my host server saying page does not exist.

So I changed the global setting back to “no” and am back to the site 404 error.

Not sure what else to do; all the settings seem right.

As I can see that your site works properly now, did you get it solved?
