September 9, 2011 at 11:28 pm #411810Could you try updating all of the extensions, template and jat3 plugin – http://www.joomlart.com/forums/downloads.php?do=cat&id=20334
Or if it is a new site go with the quickstart of JA Social for J1.7

September 9, 2011 at 11:38 pm #411812Thanks Phill, I wrote this in the other thread:
“How do you recommend installing it? Will it erase anything I have if I just install it over my current template/modules?”
Thanks 🙂

September 10, 2011 at 12:31 am #411821I found your .httaccess file misnamed, it was missing the . preface.. I would suggest turning magic_quotes and display errors off.
I also noticed you have a joomla installation inside of a joomla installation /BladeItBack/bladeitback might be careful of that. I’m sure it can be confusing.Site looks ok now.

September 10, 2011 at 9:01 am #411854Installing? no, you need to ask your host ( if you don’t know how ) to please turn off “magic_quotes” and “display errors”. When you initially install joomla it shows you a list of settings that it recommends exist on your server. You want to be sure everything is green unless you know what you are doing.
We do have a “installation” service that you can purchase via your membership panel were we will go in with the template you desire and get you up and going.1 user says Thank You to n6rej for this useful post

September 10, 2011 at 10:26 pm #411947Updated everything and have more issues. 500 error still occurs in debug mode.
Also, template doesn’t work on any pages in Internet Exploere (other than homepage).

September 10, 2011 at 11:00 pm #411953Thanks Manos, the template works in IE now. I also noticed that my logo doesn’t appear in IE as well.
And I still get this in debug mode:

September 10, 2011 at 11:15 pm #411956Wow, whatever you did to make the edges of the modules rounded off in IE just like firefox… thanks! Logo works in IE now by the way.
