this is clean installation joomla3
with mero template and plugin plg_system_jat3.v2.6.8.zip
is this the right plugin for that ?

i geet the above error 500 T3_MISSING_T3_PLUGIN

i guess that was wrong plugin .
the right one is : plg_system_t3.v1.4.1

JA Mero should go with new T3 framework plugin, not the old one.
