I have a problem that every time I go to the site or any of its pages I get this form that pops up in a box labeled Authentication Required. Next it goes on to say “A username and password are being requested by http://dev.joomlart.com. The site says: “Restricted Area”.” Then it has a form for username and password. The url is http://www.musicmaniax.net. What does this mean and what would cause this? The website had always displayed without this form popping up and out of nowhere this has started. Any thoughts in regards to this issue are appreciated.

Thanks again for your reply. Yes, I think a reason why you cant produce it from your end is because you may use JoomlArt computers, thus giving your computers NO reason to be “authenticated”. However, the computers I have tried that are definitely NOT part of JoomlArt produce the result just by simply going to the url: http://www.MusicManiaX.net
This is what I have to do to produce the result.
    1. Turn on my computer.
    2. Go to a browser. (Explorer, Firefox, etc.)
    3. Type the url: http://www.MusicManiax.net in the address bar.
    4. Then the pop-up appears. I’ve attached a screen shot.
    5. I can select cancel and hit refresh to get the same result.
    6. I can select cancel again and go to any different page or link in the site and get the same result, the “Authentication
    Required” pop-up box.
I believe, possibly, for you to get the same result that perhaps you would have to use a computer that IS NOT related to JoomlArt or JoomlArt servers because those computers related to JoomlArt WILL NOT Require Authentication” for they are already Authenticated for and through JoomlArt. The curious part is the statement: A username and password are being requested by http://dev.joomlart.com.
Furthermore if I go to dev.joomlart.com I get the same Authentication Required pop-up. I hit cancel and then I get an error page. Im attaching a screen shot for the error page as well. I dont know why this pop-up suddenly happened either. One day there are no issues then after inquiring about the video and invaconsult.ru problem I started getting the pop-up box. Which causes me to wonder if something was applied to my sight while JoomlArt support was looking into the problem. I don’t know. Nonetheless, for me to get the Authentication pop-up window to appear all I have to do is put the url in the address bar and hit enter to get the pop-up, or go to any page or link on the site, and I can also get the same pop-up window if I go to dev.JoomlArt.com. Once again I thank you for your help and all further assistance is definitely appreciated.
    Sincerely,

    MJ
