I always used the QuickStart because it always worked for me from the start. I have less success with the independent installation of Joomlart template via the extensions install.

The Joomla 1.6 with the preloaded templates (all four of them) was blazing fast compared to any Joomla/Joomlart template I ever installed.

I wanted to see how a lean Teline IV template and a few of the Joomlart extensions would look like, and more important, how fast it would load. I like the basic layout of the Teline IV minus the JA News Pro and the whistles and bells.

I got sn error. It stated some .xml file was missing. When I unpacked the Teline IV template, to check, the directories seem to be complete with an .xtm file.

Has anyone tried separate installation of the extensions of the Teline IV kit? I would be interested to view such Joomla 1.6 Teline IV site.
