February 27, 2014 at 12:24 pm #195285Hi guys, new user here migrating from Rocket Themes. :laugh: First off, well done on your templates: so far, great job and complete documentation.
Working on my site, I’ve been editing template.css by adding my own rules. I have a few questions:
1. I’ve set red as default theme. Right, but how can I change the red colour in use? I’d like to pick my own red!
2. the home page slider – is there a way to customize the two buttons? Mines are green and orange. What about red and blue?Thanks in advance!

If you want to change your color, you can edit the file:templatesja_puresitethemesredcsstemplate.css
<blockquote>2. the home page slider – is there a way to customize the two buttons? Mines are green and orange. What about red and blue?</blockquote>
Please open the file templatesja_puresitethemesredcsstemplate.css, then find this code:
.button1 {
background: url(../images/grad-1.png) #EA9F9F
border-color: #a3ca87
box-shadow: 0 1px 0 0 #d4fbb8 inset;
color: #153500
text-shadow: 0 -1px 0px #bad5a8
}
.button2 {
background: url(../images/grad-2.png) #4882bb
border: 1px solid #4882bb
color: #fff
min-width: 145px;
font-family: 'QuestrialRegular',Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;
display: inline-block;
text-decoration: none;
cursor: pointer;
overflow: visible;
}
You can change the background color as you wish.
Let me know if this helps.

February 28, 2014 at 3:24 pm #524787Yep, you answered my doubts. 🙂
Btw, is it correct to say the blog is built with K2 and the portfolio is just a category blog plus standard Joomla contents?

March 3, 2014 at 3:13 am #524969You are right, the portfolio is just a category blog that loads articles from Joomla category. Meanwhile, the blog page is based on K2, with custom HTML and JA Tabs plugin that loads instance of JA Bulletin module on the right side.*
