Few things to sort out. Sorry I’m not so good with Joomla, esp. J3! So, thanks in advance for any help.

1) Page title (the words next to favicon) reads: “Joomla! 2.5 & 3.0 One Page” etc… How/where do I change this?

2) Under ‘Common Phobias’ I am trying to add another down arrow. I tried to set up a new module to sit below the Content Popup module and then blend them using the same background style. Not sure how to explain the result in any other than one word: FAIL.

3) How do I add a “Phone Number” input to the Quick Contact form?

4) Is there a way to cut down the huuuuuge chunk of white space at the bottom of the page?

5) I would like to set it up so that the header_bg (the pic of the elephant on the chair) scales down when the window is resized so that iPhone users don’t just see the elephant’s butt.

6) Brought it up in another thread but might as well add it to the list: I have an issue where when the page is resized the menu is displaying over the top of the logo, which is wider than the template’s original logo.

7) Also, there is an issue where when the page resizes down to a certain width a white patch arises at the top of the page. It then disappears again as the browser window sizes down some more. It might just be in Chrome, haven’t tested others yet (keeping my head in the sand for as long as possible because there are enough issues as is!).

8) I downloaded an .rar file suggested in another thread to solve the “User name” issue in the Quick Contact form – so that I could simply have it read “Name” – however, it hasn’t worked. What do I do now?

Hello gibbshypnotherapy,

1. You can change page title in menu item setting of Home menu.

3. According to QuickContact form user guide http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/ja-quick-contact-module-user-guide-for-joomla-1-6/ , it doesn’t support “Phone Number” field. However, your idea is so great and it will be recorded to our checklist for further reference. Thanks for your suggestion.

6. Your logo is so long, so you should either reduce your logo width or your menu width.

8. I don’t know what your file downloaded is. Can you show me?

2, 4, 5, 7. I didn’t face these problems. Would you mind getting me a few screenshots for more clarifications? Then I shall know what you are trying to achieve.

3. Unfortunate. But I look forward to future QuickContact updates.

6. Can you please let me know where to go in the CSS to best adjust the maxwidth of the menu? And perhaps where to adjust which screen width swaps it to display the mobile menu?

2: I have tried to get the down arrow in each section of the page. Here, I created a separate module. How do I remove the white space and get them to blend?

4: The bottom of the whole page/site has lots of white space. This is not a huge issue, but it would be nice to fix.

5: Rescaled to mobile size, site viewers get an elephant’s butt. I would like to resize the picture OR get it to move below the header.

7: When resizing the browser these weird white zones appear at a certain width. They disappear again after a few hundred more pixels.

5, 7. Please check my below screenshot. No problem faced.

6. Main menu doesn’t have max-width attribute. Its width depends on each menu item width. If text of menu item is long, its width will be long.

Hi,

We’ve provided guide of how to create a section in onepage position in userguide of this tempalte: http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/ja-one-page-template-userguide/

These are basic steps:

– Create a new module (or use existing one) and assign to onepage position

– Change the ordering so that it can display below the JA Content Popup section and go to advanced option > add module class suffix with the same one of JA Content Popup module above so that it can have the same background style.

– Create a new menu item in main menu:
