March 27, 2009 at 11:18 am #298443Ok, you have a lot going on so bare with me.
lasor123;120716Hi all ๐

Filenames are also deployed, and the designated way … what do I do from here …? Is there a max. size of the banner? [/quote]Have you pointed the location to the correct folder? The folder name needs to be written as following:
“foldername/foldername”
There should be no slash at the beginning or at the end. If there is no second folder, simply typing “images” (to point to the images folder in the root) should work. There is no real max size, but pictures should be ideally no bigger than the width you have set it to. Then they come out in best quality.
lasor123;120716Hi all ๐
2. How do I add position/items in Joomla 1.5.9? I have no position for the slideshow.

Add positions? Can’t say I understand you there. Add the suffix “?tp=1” to the end your url to see all available module positions: http://www.aktivostrig.dk/?tp=1
Slideshow should be in position topsl on this template.Hi all ๐
3. How do I remove the text “Welcome to frontpage”?That’s Joomla 101! Go to Menus -> Main Menu -> Home. Click on the right hand side Parameters (System) where you will find the text to change and to select whether the text appears or not. This will also change the page header text.
Hi all ๐
4. I need a new logo into the side, it should be higher and longer, how and where do I it?Where is the side? Not the original logo I take it.
You can do this in module manager.
Click on New at the top after going to the Module Manager, click Custom HTML from the list and scroll down where you will find a WYSIWYG editor. Here you can insert anything you want. Select whether you want it to appear on the right side or left side under positions or anywhere else on the page and publish it.Hopefuly that should cover you!
If you need help or further instructions, feel free to ask!

March 30, 2009 at 9:34 am #299031Hi hanifahmed
Sorry that I only write back now …. and yes, most of what helped …… just not the module and slide show.
I simply can not get the slide to work, has been inside the settings, set them up after the directions … had done as you described ….. but it still does not work. ๐
For even inserting module placement ……. is there a better / easier way to do it – in the old Joomla version that could even make it through the “Site “….” Template Manager” …. and then “Module position “…..
Greetings, Lasor

In Joomla 1.5, one can add new positions, by opening the module and typing the desired module position in the position drop down menu. Hope this is what you wanted a clarification by above quote.

http://www.joomlart.com/images/stories/ja_edenite/userguide.jpgTo see what positions there are available on the JA Edenite template.
If you want more, help PM me a set of log in details so I can take a closer look if you want!
