I read the Ja travel thread and didnt find what i was wondering…
1st: Is there a cyrillized or “bulgarianized” version of this template or I’d have to translate it and modify css?
+ If so is there an xml to easy access most phrases and words?
2nd: At the bottom of the template is a subscribe form that seems to doesn’t work. Give an advice how to fix that.
3d: The “Prepare for the traveling” section doesnt work as well…how to make it work because it seems really functional for users of the site.
4th: Help me with the mod_custom settings. Seems it visualizes an html but i cant find that html. Help me with the location of that file.

    10x in advance!!

Greetings – and WELCOME to the JoomlART Community !!!

    1. While the base template does not come with multi-translations, there are extensions available to assist with this – JoomFISH being one of the most popular and widely utilized.

I’ll be completely honest though … I’ve always installed JA templates selecting “English” as the language. I assume that selecting a different language (if the language file is available) only affects the administration backend – as this is much more of a constant than customized modifications to the template content itself. (I could be mistaken, however – as I’ve not yet attempted such).

    2. The newsletter graphic you see within the demo content is a custom-mod (custom HTML). it is not “active” and/or connected to a newsletter component or 3rd party newsletter service. That needs to be customized/accomplished independently.

    3. Again, this module is created for demo/visual purposes only and – while utilizing the JA-Tabs plugin – is not connected to an active travel component (as part of the demo template). There are a number of relative travel components available – but, for base template purposes, JA does not purchase/provide universal license for such.

    4. Need some additional elaboration on your issue here. To which custom-mod are you referring?

Does anyone know of a trustworthy module / component which can be used with the ‘PREPARE FOR TRAVEL” function? I agree this could be a very useful component for most travel websites, and is one of the reasons i chose this template. So i’d love to give this at least basic functionality.

    Thanks guys

Perhaps one of the Booking themed extensions within the Joomla Extension Directory may be useful for this purpose.

Thanks Tom, I’ll check it out and let you know how I go. I’m sure this will be useful to anyone working on a travel business.

Not a problem …. and please do let us know if you find something to fit in with the function you’re looking for.
I’m sure others who are using – or contemplating using JA Travel – would be very appreciative of the information.

    😎
