Hi

I have download and instal ja_nuevo template and tried to instal quick start, after that I installed Persian Language.
when I wanted to make a new menu item in menu manager; after pressing save, every character in Persian automatically convert to ‘?’ character, I don’t know why it happens.
If I install Joomla 3.x and then template and …, there’s no problem with Farsi and the characters. 😮
I asked this question as ticket and the answer was:

Kindly check the database collation of your site (which you have problem with ‘?’ character), special characters like your language require UTF8 collation.
