May 14, 2012 at 4:30 pm #177050With JA_Wall,
1 – Will it be possible to add addition module positions as in normal Joomla templates..For instance a header position above the top menu…All though a nice template some people may require a larger header area.
2 – Does the JA_Wall main content page items allow content_plugins with com_content and com_k2 displayed items ? For example could I include a module within an article using the loadposition tag or similar ?
Regards,
David

You can add addition module positions however you have to pay close attention to the responsive layout of this template.<blockquote>2 – Does the JA_Wall main content page items allow content_plugins with com_content and com_k2 displayed items ? Yes, it does. However, some 3rd modules can corrupt the responsive layout. Hence you should pay a bit more attention and be selective.I hope it helps!

Hi,
Many thanks for your prompt response and answers. May I ask one more question?Do the com_content and k2_com items on the main page ahere to the component view settings?
Example: If I were to create a K2 (or com_content) category and choose the option not to show title, infotext, image, author etc would the frontpage items adhere to this or not…
If your answer to this is no then I suppose I could create a new override minus these elements and assign to the category ?? I think you may see where I am going here ??
Regards,
David

May 17, 2012 at 3:00 am #453354Hi David
The front-page of JA Wall is viewed by category blog of com_content, so you can change all options as a normal template and can override category blog view.
Thanks,
