Hi,

I was testing the registration form and I came to realise that the confirmation e-mail that one receives after filling out the form does not meet my demand.

Where and how could I personalise such e-mail?

Hi there

This is a pretty Joomla settings nothing to do with the template, anyway you can customize email text editing this file /language/en-GB/en-GB.com_users.ini

I can also suggest to use the Languages -> content Override feature so you can avoid your changes will be overrided on Joomla updates

Hi,

Thanks for the suggestion, given that I have next to nothing ability to code an override costum_users.ini file, I figured I’d take your first advice.
Problem: I don’t seem to have the file you mentioned. The screenshot of everything I have under language file and any files in this matter is in the attachment.

Could you let me know what’s wrong with my files?

Hi

Screenshot showed is from your /templates/ folder the file i mentioned above is in the Joomla root folder, as i already said this is a Joomla configuration file nothing to do with template.

correct path for file is yourjoomlafolder/languages/en-GB/en-GB.com_users.ini and you should use your cpanel to access it or an ftp client

Goodness, sorry for my ignorance. Still, I couldn’t find my joomla folder. I did, however, find this link under Cpanel/Languages/Overrides:
/home/globbiznlw/www/language/overrides/fr-FR.override.ini

Odd?
