With TelineIV your installation work never ends. Now my visitors get blank pages when trying to view a bulletin article. Joomla 1.6.5. What are we going to investigate now?

no doubt: When the issue involves Greek Mythology a Greek moderator is the best choice!

Blimey that is slow. Please try going into the template manager and turn off css and js optimization as that may greatly reduce the work your server has to do.

I think that this will also increase page load time since it will increase page size…. maybe teutobahiano you should consider jumping to an other host?

That depends, page load time does actually increase lots on some servers by turning off the cache simply because the server does not have the resources to use the cache effectively.

i agree with phil, my website had same problem, when i disabled the cache it started to work very very fastly.

also, tyring to disable the cache in many modules can be helpful too.

Hi Manos,

jumping to another host was not necessary as they placed my site on another server. Now everything seems to be normal. But … you know the story of Sisyphus …

If your problems are solved then it’s fine.. but look at those numbers :

Page Speed Score: 56/100
Yslow: Grade E Overall performance score 59

The HTTP 500 Error is back again!

The HostGator guys are saying now that my site is using more than 25% of the shared server capacity! I had a look on my statistics and I found only between 30 and 40 daily visitors. My who-is-online module normally shows between 200 and 300 visitors, probably including a lot of robots. Is that possible??? More than 25%?
