Please can anyone show me a live 100% working example of ja-slideshow2 where images are loaded from articles and where the readmore link actually links through to the correct article.

    many thanks

Hi – thanks for this, but this does not answer my query. i have successfully installed the module, and having run into a few issues, i cannot locate anything that answers my queries on the forums or any link to a working example. I have 2 issues

    1) im use the ‘select images from articles’ option. but images do not appear
    2) the readmore link just links to the index page of my site

    Hello guy!

    Pls
    1) im use the ‘select images from articles’ option. but images do not appear
you try to get the mod_jaslideshow2.css file and some images using for the slideshow from the ja_rasite template. and put them inside your template and try to check again,
if the issue is not fixed, pls give me the link and the administrator account.

    2) the readmore link just links to the index page of my site
    here is the solution http://www.joomlart.com/forums/showpost.php?p=165586&postcount=3

    for anyone reading this, looking for a solution. There are two issues here;

    1) images not displaying.

this was simply that it does not like the full url link being entered for the image src. if you simplify it to the relative path, it should work.

    2) the readmore link was not functioning correctly. following this post, JA developer, fixed the bug using access to my admin facility. I do not know the cause or the solution, but have asked for it to be posted here for future reference.

I would like to add something else please.

I cannot see the slideshow images on my iphone. I can’t see them on my website where I used the quickstart package and I cannot see them on the topaz demo on my iphone.

Perhaps this is not a problem, but does anyone know why this would be the case?

    Cheers 🙂

    Hello tienhc,

You are correct! As soon as I enabled javascript for my mobile phone’s browser (safari) I was able to see the slideshow on my iphone.

    Cheers 🙂

Is there anyway I could get the slideshow to work without javascript?

Would it be possible to display a simple image in place of the slideshow for users with javascript disabled?

Clearly I do not expect you to work on this as a priority, but if you (or anyone) else has a quick fix it would be much appreciated 🙂

    Hello smitheringale!

if the modules use the javascript to play a slideshow, i make that the slideshow does not work when you disabled javascript .

I think that you should choose a Flash slideshow instead of this because most of smart mobiles support the Flash Application. you can find a extension in the JED

    Good luck
