I am trying to follow the documentation for JA-Decor template and it says that Testimonial Slider should be positioned in “Module Position: home-2”, now I don’t have this position available in my template. And in whatever other position I put this module I am not getting the same result as on the demo page.

You can manually add the position home-2 into the list of available positions when you edit the module Testimonial Slider
