I have a portal develop in local machine and ready to put in a internal server of my enterprise with JA Beranis.

In this moment, this portal, have the template version 1.0.4. And use K2.

Another departament wants a portal like that, and i download today a new beranis package and the template is 1.0.6. When i put this template in a new joomla instalation and i read an advise that not suport k2…

But in this root: http://www.joomlart.com/documentation/joomla-templates/ja-beranis#install-extensions K2 is in the documentation.

If I install K2 in 1.0.6… and dont work… i could move the files about k2 in other portal (1.0.4)? K2 will run in this case?

    Hi jlmartinez,

Actually, not support means ‘we don’t provide any predefined style for it‘, it does not necessarily mean it won’t work with our template so you can use K2 if you want.

Sorry… when I said “dont work” I wanted to say “dont looks like previous version”.

So, I think my first idea is good. If I move my k2 files from template in portal a (1.0.4 with predefined style) to new portal (1.0.6 without predefined style)… I must see the same blog in two portals…

    🙂

    Hi,

In this case, look like the HTML structure of K2 has been changed, you can try your solution and let me know if you need any further assistant after that.
