in the demo on the right hand side there is the module “About the author” I can’t seem to find out how to activate that. can anyone lend a hand?

If you login to back-end go to EXTENSIONS > MODULE MANAGER and look for “About author” module. You should be able to do what you need from there. 😉

yep I installed the template and all the extensions. I can’t overwrite my entire site I have a lot of content that can’t exactly be moved. can somone tell me how I can come up with this module?

Or you can choose some module on http://www.extensions.joomla.org
