    Hi guys,

As the title, I have added the new logo in the backend. But it is not shown at the frontend.
    Please see the attachments.
Is there any better idea about this ?

    Here is my site: http://luke-ghostwriter.com/testPool/PMP/index.php

    Thanks,

    Luke

    Hi Luke,

In this JA Sugite template, it uses different template styles and assign to different pages. You added the logo for the default template, it’s correct but in homepage, it’s using ‘ja_sugite – Features Intro’ template style so you should add in this style also. I updated for you and it’s showing now.

Kindly check and do the same for other template styles.

    Regards

In Joomla template style generally, you have ability to duplicate/create different template styles so that you can assign each to a specific page. For example, you want to have a specific page to show contact info, you want to have special layout for it, you just need to duplicate an existing style and customize layout as you wish >> then assign to that contact menu item only.

The same with ‘Homepage’ in this template, ‘ja_sugite – Features Intro’ template style is assigned to ‘Homepage’ only (of course, if you want to have this layout in other pages, just assign to that menu item via ‘Assignment’ tab in template settings).

In next time, when you change something: check the menu item of the page you’re changing and see which template style is assigned to that page, then you will know which template style you’re working on. This is basic knowledge in Joomla.

    I hope this makes senses.

    Hi Luke,

I can’t access your site now with provided info so let have a look at our demo site for JA Sugite template: http://ja-sugite.demo.joomlart.com/index.php/en/

For example, you’re wanting to change the layout of the ‘Home’ page but you don’t know which template style it’s using.

Let access admin panel of your site > navigate to Menus > Main menu (which contains ‘Home’ menu item) > open ‘Home’ menu item, look for the Template Style option, you will know that it’s using ja_sugite – Features Intro template style: http://prntscr.com/iibj6i

Now, you go to Extensions > Templates > open ‘ja_sugite – Features Intro’ template style > and configure/customize things there: http://prntscr.com/iibk0t

    Hope this makes senses.

Actually, you can check in both places. In menu item settings, you will know which template style it’s being assigned.

In template style settings, there is also ‘Assignment’ tab, where you can assign that template style to menu item you wish.

    Cheers!
