Hello there,
I have been working on this template and I have got the site nearly finished but we are having some trouble with the configuration of the Virtuemart component.
We want to accept payments with credit/debit card in some way but without having to sign up for another service. I know that Paypal offers to accept payments without a Paypal account but I don´t know how to set that up in Virtuemart.
Any thoughts?

It is not too complicated. Which part are you stuck on?
On a basic level you simply go to the shop menu from the back end and from there go to the payment methods menu then select PayPal and provide all the details it requires. You still need a PayPal account though.

Sorry, I did not explain mysel properly. I have configured the paypal payment within Virtuemart. But when it redirects you to the Paypal website there is no option to pay by credit/debit card. The only way to do it is with a PAYPAL account. I would like to display both options on the checkout process and the credit/debit card payment would redirect you to the paypal website but with the option of paying by credit/debit card throught paypal without a paypal account.
Is that possible?

That is something you will need to discuss with Paypal. As I am sure you are aware, the code just feeds their site with the users details and what happened after that is in the hands of PayPal. I think you just need to upgrade your account with them.
