Hi, foolishly I’ve accidentally Deleted Contcat Page from Smashboard Template. I think it’s the bit under components, contact, contact name here. I’ve reinstalled the template but still no luck.
If anyone has any ideas I would be most grateful.
Many thanks,
Adam

August 16, 2013 at 8:13 am #502443Where have you deleted it from? Have you deleted the actual contact or just the menu item? Details of the menu item can be found here – http://static.joomlart.com/images/userguide/ja_templates/ja_smashboard/contact.jpg
August 16, 2013 at 8:42 am #502447Hi thanks for your reply, it was deleted from Components, Contacts and the file is called ‘Contact Name Here’. It was deleted and then deleted from Trash also. Can this file be uploaded from else where?
Thank you

August 16, 2013 at 9:51 am #502469There is no file called “Contact Name Here”, there is just a contact. Simply create a new contact and the menu item as previously outlined. The menu item you can then link to your new contact.
August 16, 2013 at 10:27 am #502481Yes that’s done the trick, thank you very much indeed!
Please could you advise where i locate the ‘Smashboard Magazine’ png image? I have tried going through template manager and uploading a new icon with the correct dimensions, but the colours come out wrong and the image is either way too small or large. Can I just edit the text from the original png?
Thank you

August 16, 2013 at 10:35 am #502483I assume you are talking about the logo in the top right? If so that is in /templates/ja_smashboard/images/logo.png. Simply replace it with an image of your own . Finding information such as this is a lot easier if you use the Firefox browser and install the excellent Firebug extension for firefox. With this you can simply inspect any item and see all the details about it. It takes a little learning but the amount of time it saves in the long run makes that effort worth it.
