June 28, 2017 at 12:44 pm #1044756Hi
We’ve been using JA ACM Call to action style 5 for a while now with a client. Following recent upgrades the background image no longer shows. We downloaded a quickstart version of Uber to MAMP and also found this style unable to load images.
To see an example please go to https://carecity.london/about-care-city/steering-group
Using the dev console of Safari, it looks like the URL to the image is corrupt – correcting it returns the image correctly.
Can you help us understand where this error is occurring and how to correct it??
Many thanks

June 28, 2017 at 3:30 pm #1044794Thanks Pavit,
Can’t really see how the solution would work as this block is a Call to Action not a feature intro and the code quoted does not see to apply.
I’ll PM some login details

June 28, 2017 at 5:31 pm #1044820Yes the image is displaying, but it is not correct – attached is how this CPA was working before the issue.

June 28, 2017 at 5:34 pm #1044822Can we escalate this issue as it is one of our key clients and either we get what we have with the current ACM module installed or we get the right perspective, but no image if we try and revert to a previous version. Either way its wrong!
Thanks for your help

I mean by ‘escalate’ can we move this topic to a premium support ticket as I’m a developer subscriber?
Really need to get this resolved 😉

July 2, 2017 at 10:02 pm #1045518OK so I’m pretty disappointed that on one of the few occasions I need real help, nothing has supported a solution.
So in the end I’ve put together a fix using the only CTA where the background image still works – Style 3
I’ve taken the guts of this CTA and removed the need for any buttons which threw up errors and in effect created a custom CTA that works.
The background image issue remains and given it is not only CTA, I think you should find out and fix whatever code has been deprecated in either the ACM/J! following J!3.7.2 updates.
Cheers

July 3, 2017 at 2:21 am #1045571Hi Stuart,
I tried to access your site to check for you but it seems not to be working now: https://carecity.london/
Could you share me the correct info so I will take a look?
