Hi,

3 questions regarding the Contact-Info ACM and updates:

1) How do I get links to open in a new tab? I suspect it’s a PHP edit in acm/contact-info/tmpl/style-1.php but I’m not a PHP ninja. 😀

2) What do I need to do to get Awesome Font icons to display in the Contact-Info ACM? I see the column on the left inside the module entitled "Awesome Font Icon" and am entering various icon names but none of them are showing up.

3) I have 4 updates that need to be completed but they fail with the following error: "Update path does not exist." Any idea what I need to do to resolve this?

I hope these aren’t too difficult for you to answer. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hi JonSelman,

Below are my answers for your questions:

1. It’s simple HTML markup, if you want a link to open in new tab, you can add attribute target="_blank" inside a tag in backend settings of this module. I added for web / facebook link for sample so you can apply to other fields.

2. Because you didn’t enter the correct name of FontAwesome icons, please check out this page for details: http://fontawesome.io/icons/ For example: with twitter icon, you should add ‘fa-twitter’ instead of ‘twitter’ as you can see it now.

3. Always take a backup of your site before proceeding any updates. If you want to update new versions of JoomlArt products (templates / components / modules / plugins), it’s recommended to use our JA Extension Manager component to update. It seems that you used default Joomla Update service to update those extensions, it will not work as those are commercial extensions.
