The slideshow modume JA_ACM does not provide the option to autoadvance the slides. I have read the forum and saw some screenshots of this feature in earlier versions. However, this latest version is missing this critical option. Most users will not autoadvance the slides by themselves, it’s that simple.

The options in this version 2.0.6 look different. This is a major omission and I need help as to how to ensure the slides rotate by themselves. Urgently.

I’m afraid that at this moment, this slideshow type doesn’t have this option.

I read your reply in the other thread and I think you should not have used it at all. In this day and age, can you really expect people to advance slides manually? Why would you create something that runs against its most obvious expectation?

Basically, this is just a custom html module with some advanced options. If you want to have full option for a slideshow, you can use a slideshow extension.

I will also pass this to development team for further consideration.

Hi Shemeam, If you know how to get to the code, you can go to:

yourdomainname.com/templates/ja_charity/acm/slideshow/js/script.js and change

line 9 from autoPlay: false,

to autoPlay: true,

You can play with slideSpeed and paginationSpeed to slow down or speed up the slideshow if you like.
