Hi
I’ve been trying to get http://www.vasahalsoklinik.se slideshow to have the same behaviour on different screeensizes/browsers (but it has like a different behaviour for each one)
Slide1 (I solved to with a costum module having a picture that has 100% width) Couse if i use a hero with no text it doesnt obey the "height" and only shows half the picture. (If there is a hero setting i can use instead, that would work?)
Slide2-7
Works kinda how i want on big screens, but how do i get on smaller screens that the slideshow resize the slides like how it gets on slide1, so not half the faces are showing etc? Is there a setting iam missing? And if i want to have text effect on, then the button slides down and gets hidden on smaller screens.
And the buttons on 2-7 doesnt seem to work on safari/apple. (Atleast ive been told on certain devices it just go back to the main page)
Cheers.

January 30, 2016 at 5:58 pm #872442Which ACM module(s) are you using?
Try Container Slideshow Style 1 and for the actual slides Hero Style 1 and so long as your slide items background images are of identical width and height they should work better. Also use same text in all buttons if possible.

January 30, 2016 at 6:10 pm #872449Are ALL Hero background images of same dimensions? 1920 x 1080 is recommended.
January 30, 2016 at 6:16 pm #872453Hmm.. I rather get another template then to use Slideshow style 1.

January 30, 2016 at 6:53 pm #872461There does seem to be a weird difference on small screen sizes. When the Theme is set to Light (aka Dark Title text) the left alignment is not obeyed, and Title + Button are sort of centered. Bug?

January 30, 2016 at 7:29 pm #872489If you need dark text you can get around this problem by using a little tag before the Title and Intro text such as below: But may not work if your site is strictly HTML 5 only.
<font color="grey">

January 30, 2016 at 8:10 pm #872514I’ve just noticed that one of the slide images I use that is similar to your (2-7) is 1280 high, not 1080.
See screen grab below. You can see it live at http://uber-biz.composestore.com
January 31, 2016 at 8:23 am #872688It defently works better with 1920×1280 but still the behaviour is kinda off.

January 31, 2016 at 5:00 pm #872881Well done. I think you’ve got it as good as you can get it now. Below is 360 px wide phone screen. If you use Firefox browser and Tools menu > Web Developer > Responsive Design View you can easily see how the resizing goes in steps. The image and the text + button are on different layers. There is both resizing and some cropping going on at different stages. Cropping your original images to keep the faces nearer to the top would help in some tablet size views.

February 1, 2016 at 7:43 am #873152I really want it to be as simple as the costume module i made for slide 1 but i want to be able to add text..
I’ll probobly be looking for another extension/template :/
And still the slidebuttons gets "over" the herobutton so when people want to click on the herobutton they change the slide. (On small screens) i cant have that either.

February 1, 2016 at 1:47 pm #873497I would omit the slide controls and run on Auto set to 5000 milliseconds. No text to read on small screens other than Title.
