I used to use {loadmodule MODULE-NAME} syntax to add a module to Joomla 2.5 but it is not working on Joomla 3.X
My Content Load Module in the plug-in is enabled.

I tried that syntax on Purity III (3.4.1) and Onepage (3.7.5). It does not work on both templates.

    Hi
Can u check it with default Joomla templates like beez3/Protostar?
    and share the result here

I think the syntax was the problem. It must be {loadmodule mod_module type, module name}. If you simply use {loadmodule module name} then it will not work on 3.X

    Hi
Follow this documentation for load module in Joomla articles.
