    I’ve searched the forums, without success, to find a way to add an image/icon to a menu item, and I suspect it may be the template – but I’m not sure, and if so, if it is a CSS or template issue.

    There is no “parameters” box in the Add URL/Link’ option in Joomla’s menu manager, where I might have been able to add the following parameter recommended in another post:
    menu_image=”xxxxxx.png”

    However, this parameter isn’t an option, so I’m a bit lost here. :confused:

    I also added this to the CSS, but also without effect:
    #ja-mainnav img {
    float: left;
    }

    Site: http://www.parteanimal.com
    (Icon image should accompany “!!!” menu item.)

    Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

    Has anyone encountered this problem?

    I’m still seeking a solution. Visit the menu and you’ll see the “!” where I’d like to add an image: http://www.parteanimal.com

    The “!” should also show the icon/image. The menu item is linked to a module, which pops up on click to display a music player – and the image is crucial to display the music icon!

    I’m using the Rochea template from Joomlart.com, and I cannot arrange the icon/image to display in the upper/top/header menu. The template does not have a menu position there – it looks like it’s been hard-coded: is there NO module position for the menu?? – so I cannot modify/configure any module to display images.

    Thanks for any suggestions you can provide.
