Can someone help me, I would like to have phone number and email along side the logo that i can add links too.

Tel and email links.

You can add your custom text in the /tpls/blocks/header.php after the logo
here : http://prntscr.com/cm14c3
Or create a module position to publish module in that place . Here is documentation for creating a module position .
