How do I add more content to the front page? Currently, it only holds three published stories and the third one seems to fit awkwardly?

I don’t have any homepage menu? I don’t see anywhere to change the columns to 1 either? I looked everywhere even with the template options?
Thanks again

December 3, 2007 at 11:22 am #233815OK in your Joomla CMS (the site) you have a section called MENU MANAGER
Its on your opening screen after you Log-Into your admin system…the picture with the magic wand..or you can click SITE and scroll down to the Menu Manager button.
This is where all your menu buttons are Yours are “Home” “A P English” “English 12” and so on….
When you find this click the HOME and you will find the things I talked about earlier.
I have seen you widgets working in Firefox….even your text viewed in Firefox I think you still need to reduce Columns to 1

December 4, 2007 at 1:21 am #233851This seems to be a problem with the opening of your widgets….after 10 mins opening your page in IE7 its says waiting for four items, I can only assume its the widgets
Your page looks a lot better…any more trouble just ask 🙂
December 5, 2007 at 12:26 am #233912i’ve just dropped the widgets in user5 due to the IE problems. I just added them as pages under the usermenu for students.
Actually, I wanted to put RSS feeds in the user5, but I can’t seem to get it to work. It shows the titles, but not the feeds?
I also wanted to add a “latest news” list in the user5, but I can’t seem to figure out how to separate the news according to specific classes.
Any ideas?

December 5, 2007 at 3:26 am #233932You can put the syndicate module in user5 which is your RSS feeds.
December 5, 2007 at 3:28 am #233934i’ll try and see how it works
December 5, 2007 at 11:55 am #233957When I put an RSS feed (ex. NY Times) in the user5, all i get is the title…no feed or content. However, when I move the feed to left or right mod, it works fine? I even adjusted the feed so it was only 1 story thinking it would be too long. Still nothing.
I put a mock one here to show you. I didn’t want to put it on the site until i figure it out.
