    We’ve just released JA Purity II v2, powered by T3 Framework 2.0.

    Details here:
    http://www.joomlart.com/blog/news-updates/joomla-16-templates-release-round-3/

    In my signature you will find all resources for T3 Framework you need.

    The top panel you are trying to create have been already done by some users in the forum, just search for it in our forums.
    Let me know what’s on your mind now.

    Regards,
    Danny

    thanks for the threads.

    i managed to come up with the top panel which i want to implement.
    here’s what i did.

    i edited the header.php and added the following codes:

    <div id=”ja-header” class=”wrap”>
    <div class=”main”>
    <div id=”topmost”>
    <div id=”newshilite”>
    <div id=”date”>
    <?php echo date(‘D, M d Y’); ?>
    </div>
    <div id=”hilite”>
    <jdoc:include type=”modules” name=”hilite” />
    </div>
    </div>
    </div>
    </div>
    </div>

    also added something in the template.css

    but the output displayed two lines

    Date here
    hilite position

    how could i make this like
    date here | hilite position

    thanks for your guidance

    This also concerns me:
    Can you explain where you put this code in the file “header.php”
    <div id=”ja-header” class=”wrap”>
    <div class=”main”>
    <div id=”topmost”>
    <div id=”newshilite”>
    <div id=”date”>
    <? php echo date (‘D, d M Y’);?>
    </ div>
    <div id=”hilite”>
    <jdoc:include type=”modules” name=”hilite” />
    </ div>
    </ div>
    </ div>
    </ div>
    </ div>

    also added something ??? in the template.css
    and the code for “template.css”.

    Thanks! (I use google translate … saluti dall’Italia).
