I created a new menu item and tried to find the option to create new tags (to assign), but does not exist.
Is there a way to create new tags on frontend?
My intention is to provide the creation of new tags to authors without the need to log into the backend.

Hi there,
Are you talking about Joomla! com_content tags ?
If yes, it’s a part of Joomla! core function. You can see it in published tab of article.edit view.

Nop… I’m talking about COMPONENTS -> TAGS
How can I create new tags through the frontend?
When I try to create a new menu item and select TAG, there is no option to create new tags.

Hi there,
# You are talking about com_tags . It’s Joomla! core component ( none JA issues )
# I have just checked into this component. There is no code to create tag at frontend . It’s mean you can’t do that in right way.
But if needed, you still can improve this component by put your own code to do that.
