March 10, 2014 at 12:18 pm #195633OMG!
How should I add latin-ext to Fixel’s embedded Font Squirrel typeface?
<file>fonts/novecentowide/stylesheet.css</file>
Should I download from Font Squirrel the proper charset? Noooooo. :((Saguaros ModeratorSaguaros

March 11, 2014 at 10:04 am #526263Yes, you need to get that font squirrel and follow steps in this documentation to add font into your site: http://t3-framework.org/documentation/bs3-customization#add-fonts

March 12, 2014 at 7:59 pm #526512It seems that I should pay for it at FontSquirrel… feels odd.
I do not want to override those CSS to use Arial ;).
Any chance to get the proper latin-ext charset?:-[Saguaros ModeratorSaguaros

March 13, 2014 at 4:37 am #526545‘latin-ext’ should work with Google fonts, if you want to use Font Squirrel, I’m afraid that you need to pay for FS font you like.

March 13, 2014 at 7:22 pm #526636Actually I do not want to use FS but novecentowide it is embedded in the template.
So I can choose:
1. Pay for FS what is nonsense >:(
2. knock out every infected row in all the CSS. :((
3. ??? :-[Saguaros ModeratorSaguaros

March 14, 2014 at 2:58 am #526656As I mentioned above, latin-ext should work with Google fonts, you can have a look here: http://www.myfonts.com/fonts/synthview/novecento/, there is no latin-ext charset for this novecentowide font.
Thought that you can change to another similiar font which supports ‘latin-ext’ charset.

March 17, 2014 at 3:40 pm #527004Hi Saguaros …of course:
You are global. Your clients are from all over the world. There are over 200 countries.
Most of them using their native languages with characters excluded from latin charset
Limited charsets of paid typefaces are chosen by the template designer.
Free google fonts can be set up easily for latin-ext.
If someone does not want to lose the template design (typography based on novecento)…
…there are two choice for using latin-ext characters:
1. kick novecento out from css
2. buy* novecento again with latin-ext charsets…
*even you have paid once for the latin charset and we paid for the template what based on the typeface
Providing novecento font family with latin-ext charsets would be a nice and fair upgrade!😉Saguaros ModeratorSaguaros

March 18, 2014 at 10:14 am #527132I am afraid we do not provide the paid font as it requires the license to redistribute them.
Thus, it is common practice for our templates and many others to use free fonts instead. Hope you understand our situation.
