I have a Q2A forum that is not a joomla component (it is from here: http://www.question2answer.org/).

I want to integrate my Q2A forum into the website. Not the functionality (like searching) but the layout. At the minimum I want the foruum to appear under the main website manu (the purity menu).

    How do I do this?

    Hi,

In a Joomla website, you will need to have extension for forum to install / use. Otherwise, you need to link to external site for forum.

There are extensions for Joomla forum, kindly seek for a suitable one in Joomla Extension Directory.

I need this particular forum, which is non-joomla.

I was thinking that maybe I can have the joomla-purity menu at the top and then have a frame that includes the forum. Can this be done? Fully responsive etc?

    Hi,

You can put your forum in a sub domain site and add a link in your main site. Or hide a developer to integrate this kind of forum into Joomla site.

    Regards
