    I’m using JA Cooper pretty successfully but one thing I want to have more control over is the styling in the articles. I know there is the typo.css file that gives some special styling options but I want to be able to do things like:

    add border and margins around images
    add color to text using styles
    etc.

    Example, I uploaded an image and inserted it into an article, left justified it but the text on the page sits right next to the image. Normally I would handle that with a CSS style to add margins/padding/borders as needed. I can’t figure out how or where the CSS is, if any, to let me do that.

    How can I add my own styles and have them available in the WYSIWYG editor list of styles.

    Without the ability to format the images, at minimum, my articles will be bland text only pages without images. Pretty boring.

    Can someone enlighten me, please?

    Thanks!

    Hi christimcginley

    Please edit this article with HTML mode, add class=”caption” into img tag

    <img class="caption" src="images/stories/HPmeet/36annual-meet.gif" border="0" align="left" />

    The code already has the class=”caption” code in it. Here’s the entire tag:
    <h1><img class=”caption” src=”images/stories/HPmeet/36annual-meet.gif” border=”0″ align=”left” />36th Annual Corvette & High Performance Meet</h1>

    I just edited the templete.css file for some other purposes and now notice that the images have margins around them. It must have been something to do with the template.css file not being saved correctly or something?

    At any rate, it seems to be working now.

    Thanks!
