After JomComment from Azrul filled up a cache directory with 19 GB worth of crap (millions of 1,4 Kb files which took my dedicated server THREE DAYS to remove suing rm -rf ), I urge the JA Voice team to PLEASE add support for the best and most widely used native commenting system for Joomla 1.5 nowadays, which is no other than JComments (http://www.joomlatune.com/jcomments-downloads.html).
I am really furious at this JomComment ordeal and do not plan to give such a lousy extension a second try after this ordeal (millions of stupid cache files generated out of the blue, since we had only ONE comment). Azrul is well aware of the issue and did not provide so far any admin option to toggle off the faulty cache system (http://www.azrul.com/forum/index.php?f=4&t=1827&p=19201&hilit=jomcomment%20cache&rb_v=viewtopic#p19201).
Besides many outstanding features, JComments is open source, GPL’ed and free of charge.
