December 11, 2008 at 7:42 pm #282408Hi,
I found some other people with the same problem on another site (also using mesolite). Heres what they said:
<blockquote>The problem is with Ajax Add to Cart.
I managed to get it working by turning off Ajax add to cart, by going to
Admin -> Configuration -> Site (tab) -> Layout -> Configuration -> Use Ajax to add, update or delete products from the cart? Yes/No
As far as I can tell, this is not fixed in VM 1.1.1. The Add to Cart only works from my “Featured Products” link as it doesn’t use Ajax there.
When I look at products in a category view, and try to “Add to Cart”, (with Ajax on) nothing happens.
I’m using VM 1.1.1, sh404SEF 1.0.11_Beta – build_147 – Joomla 1.5.x
and Joomla 1.5.5. It is a clean install.</blockquote>I hope this helps.
Cheers,

December 11, 2008 at 8:22 pm #282426From what I read which was dated September of this year there was still a problem and no fix. Of course this may have changed by now, I’ll have a look around and post back here if I see anything.

December 11, 2008 at 8:27 pm #282427The problem is Virtuemart support is utterly horrible and you don’t really see any forward development from the dev team. Which is pretty sad considering they are now bundled in the joomla package.
