Hello, I’m testing Orisite:

Is it possible to have the “Add to cart” button into the products listing within the categories? That way it is easy for customers to add products directly from the category list if they do not need to view the product description, thus making the purchase faster.

Any idea?

Hi,

By default, we only override the style for Virtuemart in this template, we don’t change the base function of this component. The idea here is that you can go to file: componentscom_virtuemartviewsproductdetailstmpldefault_addtocart.php, and copy the form containing add to cart section to the category view: templatesja_orisitehtmlcom_virtuemartcategorydefault.php.

If I were in that case, I would post a thread on Virtuemart forum, developer there can give more advice.
