July 19, 2009 at 2:40 am #142841This doesn’t happen in IE7 but it does in Firefox and Safari. When “add to cart” is clicked, a rectangular bar covers part of the shopping cart and you are unable to see what is listed in the cart. This happens after you’ve been told the item was added to the cart and “OK” is clicked.
A pic is worth a thousand words? Please take a look at the attached pic.
The site is [here]. Also, if you go there, please tell me where to find the charcoal vertical bar/line on the right. I’ve searched and do not know how to change the CSS for it. It’s hideous now that I’ve made other changes.
I’d appreciate any help. Thank you much!
Kind regards,
GeoVi

July 19, 2009 at 12:58 pm #311510Hiya Avis,
Try to solve it with this:
http://www.joomlart.com/forums/showpost.php?p=103205&postcount=2
And if that not works look in virtuemart configuration and disable AJAX functions.
With regards 🙂

July 19, 2009 at 1:20 pm #311516Hi J,
Thanks for answering. The file didn’t work. (I cleared cache.) I am unable to find AJAX anywhere in VM configuration. I didn’t go to bed yet so that could be one reason.
Best regards 🙂

July 19, 2009 at 1:40 pm #311523It’s obvious but I never saw that before. (You sure you don’t have one to access???) I was where you said and it solved the problem. I learned a bit. So that’s what AJAX does, eh? The popup stating the item had been added to the cart is disabled. Kewwwwwl.
Thanks a bunch, J. I will try to sleep now. I will submit a support ticket on that charcoal gray vertical bar on the right of the template.
Enjoy the evening!
