Hi All

I need to play a one off ‘welcome’ video when ppl first visit the site, I thought by using the JA Top Panel module I could do this while allowing users to tick the see only once option etc. I have published the module to the absolute position and loaded the relevent video module to the top-panel position.

The video appears before the panel does, when panel renders I get two videos not one (that is the first one centred outside the panel and one left aligned in the panel). can someone assist to sort it so the video appears centred inside the panel and disapears when panel closed. I have looked at the ja social userguide re top-panel but it doesn’t address my issue.

Hi Blassings Shane,

you have assigned your video module to the top-panel position but the module also is being displayed at the absolute position (display inside the toppanel module ) so you need go to the template back-end >> Default layout setting and remove the block that display modules from top-panel position if not the module will be displayed doubly, the block need to be removed is
<block name=”top-panel” type=”modules” style=”raw” main-inner=”1″>top-panel</block>

I just did it for you, now you can check it again yourself !
