Hi, I really like using ja-news with ja-teline template but one thing is causing me a lot of trouble. How does one create Section-based pages that contain their own headlines and category headers that can be opened from the mainmenu?

I wish to have at least six other main pages after the frontpage, each based on Ja-news because I like its layout so much. How do I turn off the Joomla standard list or blog and use ja-news instead?

    Thanks.

I’mm looking for the same thing. I got it partially working by first creating a new main menu item (List Content Section) and hiding all parameters.

I then copied the mod_janews module and renamed it. I then added it to appear on only the newly created menu item and entered the numbers of the required categories from the section I wanted.

Now this all works fine apart from then when you click on a news item from your newly created sub-section, the janews module showing the leading story and the other teasers now appears under each article.

If there was a way to stop this happening then this would be the solution to multiple section frontpages.

    Anybody any ideas?
    Thanks
