July 29, 2009 at 8:55 pm #143100I thought I read this somewhere and made an adjustment but apparently I’m confused.
When I add a new article to the frontpage, the left and right module positions move to the bottom in the banner or former inset position. I have checked the setting in Main Menu > Home, to show the proper number of leading intros and articles.
Any ideas? Thanks for your help!

Have you been copy pasting content into an article?</blockquote>
Guilty! That’s precisely how that first article got there. I copied and pasted it from another source, partially written by me and Dr. Jamie’s webmaster.
Not allowed, eh? I have to type it to correct it? J, please say no. Maybe I can just paste it without using “Word” paste?
Thanks for replying. You gotta know how grateful I am. 🙂

July 30, 2009 at 12:10 am #312631Your welcome,
There are several ways to copy content into an article without problems but you just have to make sure you dont copy the hidden formatting tags along wich can conflict with your site (exactly what is happening now)
One way to do it is to copy the content you have into notepad (standard on windows available) that removes all formatting and then copy from notepad into joomla.
Should be a problem solved 🙂

mcaran,
A lovely site. I’m not sure if you noticed but one word is not spelled correctly in the slide photo.
“preparing” you have preaperingIf you PM your joomla admin info, I will see if I can correct the issue for you. I’m not sure how to explain what to do. Did you make sure you have the proper amount of articles to show on the homepage even though you have images in the right module position?
Or perhaps someone else will see this post and figure it out straight away. Let’s hope Bennitos does.
A great site. I wish you all the best with what you’re doing. Many blessings.
In His service,
