Hello,

I notice that when i don’t “optimize js” in my template settings, my slideshow doesn’t work. See http://www.bboxradio.com/home-page-2

However, if I “optimize js” to “join” then my custom JS no longer works. See files popup.js and add-event.js for the functionality to launch a pop-up on the “listen now” link on the same page.

How can i have both the javascript for both work at the same time?

javascript conflicts are rough be sure your using the no-conflict mode and then the proper $ / # annotation as needed. Joomla is powered primarily by mootools so this is not a uncommon issue. Also you might have one or more too many Jquery’s installed… firebug will be a great asset in this
