Would like to add the Google Plus One button tag next to everywhere that the Facebook Like button is displayed in the template.

Ideally I would have the Facebook Like Button on the left and the Google Plus One button on the right. Can you help direct me towards where in the various templates I need to update? I can figure out how to essentially hard code it into the various templates, but the spacing and layout is not like I want. FIgure there is a much better way of doing this.

Appreciate any help you can offer.

Slight update to this question now. I’ve been able to figure out how to add the Google Plus One button to in the toolbar area near the top of content as well as in the ‘Social Sharing’ areas in the bottom. However, I cannot figure out how to get these updates to show up when viewing the site on the iPad or iPhone.

Assume it has something to do with the profiles associated with these interfaces, but I can’t figure out where to make the updates. I have looked at the CSS file for the iPhone and it’s not clear to me what I would need to add. I’m not even sure what profile the iPad Safari browser uses.

    Any ideas?

    Hi thejomo,

For explanation of iPhone & iPad layout, please navigate to admin > template manager > JA Graphite > Profile tab, scroll down to the end you will notice the layout file applied to iPhone. Next, clicking on the Layout tab you can see a list of layout files in which the layout for iPhone also resides in, you can view each file for detail content. Base on that I think you can figure out the reason and make the button for iPhone. 🙂
