I would like to change the way positions are constructed in Ja Zite back to what most of the other templates have. namely I would like to have 4 or 5 positions in a grid below the slideshow area and above the content.
In regular Joomla templates it is quite easy, but in JAT3 framework is something I have never done and I would appreciate a pointer of two on how to accomplish this. I assume it needs to be done in the XML file, but beyond that I am not sure how to do it.

I just added the position in the XML file (default.xml) inside template name/etc/layouts and it added the positions without any problems. I had to rename the duplicate positions but other than that that was easy.
