    Hi –

Im trying to add JA Extension manager to existing Joomla installs. My goal is to set up my own repository / service to use for updates with all of my other Joomla sites.

Currently my Joomla install has 221 plugins. Do I really have to go find the .zips for all 221 plugins so that I can upload them to the repository so that they will work with JAEM? Cant I use the files that are already in the component and module folders? The com_whatever and mod_whatever folders do not have the jaupdater.element_info.xml file isn’t this an issue? Do I have to go create that file 221 times?

Please and thank you for the help,
    -Rachel

Nvm on this question. We are planning on uploading the zips and managing the repository. Please disregard this question.

    Hello mate,

Yes, If you have a long plan for that, you should create a tool to manage your extensions rather than manually do it.

    Best regards,
